Celebrating at the Table — Savoring Life Through Digestive Health

The enjoyment and fellowship of sharing a meal is something most people take for granted, but for many living with gastrointestinal disease, eating can present anxiety, pain and a host of other challenges. The Digestive Health Institute Gala will highlight recent medical advances that have enabled patients with gastrointestinal conditions to join their loved ones at the table and celebrate the joy of food.

In addition to supporting vital nutrition programs, funds raised will back critical research at Northwestern Medicine to help prevent, treat and ultimately cure a spectrum of digestive disorders — including colon, pancreatic and esophageal cancers, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, celiac disease, swallowing disorders, hepatitis and other liver diseases.
