Thanks to the work you do every day, patients at Northwestern Medicine receive leading-edge, compassionate care. Many workforce members also choose to further support their colleagues, our patients and local community organizations by donating to the Workplace Giving program through Northwestern Memorial Foundation.
Our goal this year is to raise $75,000 to support our patients, our communities and each other. To amplify the impact of our gifts, Epic has graciously offered to match donations up to $75,000. That means that together, we have an opportunity to raise more than $150,000 to impact the lives of those around us.
The Employee Crisis Assistance Fund provides financial assistance for eligible employees. Every dollar you donate directly assists a co-worker who is experiencing a crisis.

The Patient and Family Assistance Fund helps patients and their families’ meet needs related to their care when no other sources of funding exist.
| Last year, employees raised $137,775 to help patients and families focus on recovery and healing. |
The Healthier Communities Grant Fund augments systemwide efforts to improve access to care and eliminate health disparities in the communities we serve.
| In fiscal year 2024, this fund made it possible to provide 34 grants totaling $387,500. These grants addressed patient access to care, food insecurity, disparities in care, youth pipeline programs, workforce development and the cultural responsiveness of our clinical workforce. |
